Wings of Discovery: Have you ever seen the craft map of India? It’s vast, it’s hard working, it’s a marvel. This became my starting point - taking the art, architecture and craft of Jaipur and showing it from my perspective. I played with dimensions and layers - where each window host a different narrative, inviting viewers to experience a new story. The idea was to weave a seamless lyrical landscape by showing different arches with different view points. Each arch will narrate a different story. Each window acts like a view point for discovery. Somebody weaving a carpet, birds drinking from a bird bath, tiled floors, stepwell leading to arches, textiles strewn on the floor..
